A journey between communities
Teresa Edgar’s retrieved 19 July 2010 report describes the seven-day mountain-bike stage race along the British Columbia coast. It follows the opening in North Vancouver, the ferry trip to Nanaimo, a new stop in Powell River and the finish in Whistler. The report pays attention to host communities as well as the riding.

The feature explains the addition of a shorter Challenge course alongside the Epic course and notes unicyclist Kris Holm’s participation in the Challenge.
