A small footprint
This edition has no newsletter signup, advertising tracker, account system or contact form. Library searches work on the server and are not stored by the magazine. The website does not ask for your location.
Traffic and reading time
We record document paths, request times, response status, user agents and connection IP addresses for traffic analysis. Query strings, searches, form contents, cookies and referrers are excluded from these records. Traffic, timing and operational logs expire after a rolling 60 days.
A first-party script estimates visible reading time using anonymous browser, session and page-view identifiers. It sends page views and cumulative visible time to this website, pauses while a tab is hidden, and starts a new session after 30 minutes of inactivity. Visible time is an estimate, not proof of attention.
