The approaching start
The retrieved preview announces a 9 July start at the Balsams Grand Resort Hotel. It describes a three-day, non-stop event combining trekking, cycling, paddling, ropes, navigation and conservation projects. The article presents Untamed New England’s addition to the Adventure Racing World Series as a new opportunity for North American teams.
The preview has its own clock
Announcements record the plans available before an event. They should be compared with later reports rather than silently corrected into a retrospective result. This capture is particularly useful for tracing how the race was introduced; finishing positions and the final timetable belong to other records.
